readeye Limited

We're building vibrant dance communities across Ireland. From Dublin's kizomba and salsa scene to beachside gatherings in Dún Laoghaire and themed dance nights in Cork, we're connecting people through movement and music.

How readeye Limited Started

We're not a massive corporation with fancy offices. We're a group of dance enthusiasts who noticed something was missing in Ireland — real, accessible weekend dance communities for people over 45. Too many folks felt left out of the social dance scene because most groups were geared toward younger crowds or required serious competition experience.

So we started small. A few gatherings. Some friends bringing friends. Word spread. Now we're running regular weekend meetups across Ireland's coastal towns, and honestly? The response has been brilliant. People tell us they've made genuine friendships, discovered new music, and rediscovered their love of dancing after years away.

We've built something real here. Not slick marketing or corporate fluff. Just good people, great music, and the freedom to move without judgment. That's what readeye Limited is really about.

Weekend Dance Meetups Across Ireland

Each location has its own flavor. Dublin's kizomba and salsa scene is energetic and fast-paced. Dún Laoghaire brings the beachside charm. Cork's themed nights let dancers explore different styles. We're creating spaces where everyone feels welcome.

Dublin Gatherings

Kizomba and salsa are our focus here. We've got venues that work well for dancing, experienced guides who show the basics, and a community that's genuinely supportive. Weekends are when most people join us.

Dún Laoghaire Socials

Beachside dancing changes everything. There's something about ocean air and sunset that makes people loosen up. We run seasonal gatherings here that blend dance with the natural beauty of the coast.

Cork Themed Nights

Each month brings something different. One week it's bachata, the next it's merengue or contemporary. Themed nights help dancers discover styles they might not have tried otherwise.

Coastal Town Expansion

We're growing. More towns are asking us to bring gatherings to their communities. The movement's real. People want connection, and they want it through dance.

How We Work

Our Approach to Building Dance Communities

We've learned a lot running weekend dance meetups. First thing? There's no judgment here. We're not training competitive dancers. We're creating space for people who want to move, meet others, and have genuine fun. That changes everything about how we structure things.

Guides aren't drill sergeants barking instructions. They're experienced dancers who remember what it's like to be nervous. They show the basic steps, explain the music, answer questions. Some people pick it up immediately. Others take a few weeks. Both are perfectly fine.

And community matters. We don't just do dances and disappear. People stick around after. They chat, exchange numbers, plan their own smaller gatherings. We've watched friendships form and partnerships develop. That's not an accident. We're intentional about creating that environment.

Why People Keep Coming Back

The real magic happens when you realize you're not the only person who's been curious about dance but nervous to start. You're surrounded by accountants, teachers, nurses, retired folks, people from every background. Someone's never danced. Someone danced 20 years ago. Someone's tried three other dance communities and didn't feel welcome. Here, they do.

We've heard people say things like "I didn't think I could dance anymore" or "I was worried I'd be too old." Then they come to one gathering and realize that's not how this works. There's no age limit on movement or joy.

readeye Limited exists because we believe connection matters. Movement matters. Being part of something bigger than yourself matters. That's what keeps people coming back to weekend gatherings across Dublin, Dún Laoghaire, Cork, and beyond.

"I wasn't sure I'd fit in honestly. Thought everyone would be much better than me. But the guides were patient, the people were kind, and after a few sessions I actually started enjoying myself. Can't believe I almost didn't show up that first night."
